Insurance Assistance Hotline: (724) 825-4411

Cornerstone Care is a non-profit network of Community Health Centers. Our continuing mission is to make sure everyone has access to healthcare. That is why we provide medical services on a sliding scale fee, based on a patient’s income and ability to pay. We accept all major insurance carriers, including Medicare. If you have questions about coverage for services, please call a location near you. A member of our staff will be happy to answer your questions and help you get the medical care that you and your family need.

Yes, You DO Need Health Insurance!

Pennsylvania Insurance Marketplace

There is a way to find a quality health insurance plan that fits your needs and your budget through the Pennsylvania Insurance Marketplace -

The Basics

  • All plans cover the care you need including doctor visits, hospital stays, preventative care, prescriptions, and more.
  • Low-cost and free plans are available, and financial help is available based on how much money you make.
  • No one is denied coverage because they have a pre-existing condition.
  • There is no sales pitch or fine print, just side-by-side comparisons of each plan.
  • With a single application, you can also see if you qualify for Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program, or savings you can use right away to lower your health insurance premiums.

Open Enrollment

You may have other options to get or change coverage outside the yearly Open Enrollment Period. A Special Enrollment Period (SEP) is a time outside the yearly Open Enrollment Period when you can sign up for health insurance. You qualify for a SEP if you’ve had certain life events, including losing health coverage, moving, getting married, having a baby, or adopting a child. If you qualify for an SEP, you usually have up to 60 days following the event to enroll in a plan. If you miss that window, you have to wait until the next Open Enrollment Period to apply. You can find the PA Insurance Marketplace at
