The Path to Success
The Medical Assistant in Training Program is designed to educate and prepare students for a variety of employment settings. As a participant in the program, Medical Assistants in Training will engage in an online learning curriculum, covering a wide range of medical assistant topics. From anatomy and medical terminology to patient care and administrative tasks, you'll gain a comprehensive understanding of the profession. Plus – you’ll earn while you learn! Tuition is FREE and you’ll get paid for the training program.
Practical Learning Experiences
At Cornerstone Care Community Health Centers, we believe that hands-on experience is crucial to mastering the skills required of a competent medical assistant. That's why our program offers job shadowing opportunities, simulation learning, and clinical rotations at various locations. Travel to various clinical sites may include, but are not limited to, Allegheny, Fayette, Greene and Washington Counties. During training at these sites, you'll have the chance to observe and learn from experienced professionals.
Program Expectations
To ensure your success, we have set certain expectations for program participants including:
• Successful completion of the online learning program with a minimum grade of 85% (B or higher).
• Participation in program-required job shadowing, simulation learning, and clinical learning at various locations.
• Completion of the necessary training competencies set forth in the clinical learning program under the supervision of trained staff.
